I love dreamy photos — doesn’t she just look like a little angel?

Here’s another image from our session – probably won’t be prominently displayed on their wall, but if I were this mama I’d have to have one to keep in a special place!!  Our angel loves all creatures, great and small — and had to take a tender moment to admire a wayward snail (“Snailey” as he came to be known)!!

Seasons change…

August 16, 2008

As the seasons begin to change, so does the structure of a family very dear to me.  Although the heat of summer is not ready to let go, it is soon Fall on the school calendars.    This Fall, the eldest of three close sisters begins a new chapter in her life, one that will take her to a college far from home.  I had the privilege of capturing the closeness of these sisters during the last few days of carefree summertime.

Brotherly Love…

August 9, 2008

The art of Photography can capture the purity and honesty that is expressed in a single moment.  This is one of my very favorite images from a session this past weekend – the love a brother for his new baby sister.   Pure, honest love.

Sweet Anticipation…

August 1, 2008

I LOVE maternity sessions, and this one was extra special because it included the SWEETEST big brother ever!!  He is all about the lovies and kissies, and his baby sister will be lavished with many more when she arrives!!

I can’t wait to meet sweet Baby M, due to arrive in late September!!

And while we were at it, I was lucky enough to capture the spirit of a little boy toolin’ around on his bike…  brought back many memories of playing with the streamers on my cool handlebars as a kid!!!
