I cannot WAIT until October when I will capture this beautiful couple’s sweet, tiny new angel. But once I spent time photographing them as they prepare to welcome their first child into their arms and hearts forever, I was immediately reminded of the simple joy of sweet Anticipation. Yes, it’s wonderful when you can finally touch your new baby’s tender skin and gaze into their wide eyes. How you can make everything better just by holding them and singing to them. All of this comes in good time, before you know it. For now, dreaming of that moment is a beautiful thing.

These sisters are just the cutest little things – Sadi the adventurous beauty and Emme with her little pigtails and whisps of hair that swirled around her sweet face. They loved the big open field, and we listened to the singing cicadas as they giggled on the big iron bed. The day was just beginning… the sun had just peeked over the horizon, and the morning dew and mist still lingered in the air. It was dreamy.

A few short months ago I photographed sweet Mason when he was just a few days old. It’s amazing how much he’s changed and grown – he’s as adorable as his big brother, yet he has a look all his own. His eyes are gorgeous and deep blue, and he’s already got my heart.
