Remember this adorable little baby?

Well, she’s growing up and my heart just lit up when I walked in and saw her looking at me with her big eyes and a huge smile!!! I LOVE being a part of documenting the special milestones of a baby’s first year. Right now she’s sitting, smiling, and she was talking a LOT – us never knowing what she was trying to say, but she was chatting all the while! I’ll capture her again at one year, when she’ll be standing and walking (and talking no doubt), and I can’t wait!!!!

Brayden has always melted my heart with his big blue eyes and happy spirit. And his baby brother Mason is just like him. He reminds me of Brayden when he was just a baby. A head full of soft peach fuzz and eyes that draw you in. I love this first shot – I had just put baby Mason where I wanted him and was getting my camera ready – and from the corner of my eye I see Brayden swinging back and forth behind a sign post. “Gotcha”, big guy!!!

I’ve always thought life would be so much fun having a twin. You’d always share a secret soul connection that only the two of you would really understand. I loved getting a glimpse of that connection while photographing Ben and Taylor, and getting to know each of their distinctive personalities.

I instantly fell in love with Serena’s idea to Shoot her and Matt’s Engagement Session at all the metro-Atlanta places that are most special to them. They’re big Georgia Techies, so after a quick couple of shots at Piedmont Park with the Atlanta skyline in the background, we spent most of our time around the Campus. Then, off to The Varsity, Fox Theater, and Krispy Kreme. We ran (yes, literally) like madmen from location to location (I’d stand post outside the car for quick outfit changes!), laughing and having a BLAST all along the way! It was a fabulous Shoot, and I had so much fun capturing the love they share in the places they love to be!!

I had a lot of fun during this mini-Fall Session. We tried to take as much advantage of the changing leaves as possible. In mid-October the leaves are just beginning to change here in Atlanta, and the setting sun helped to turn newly yellowing Fall foliage into stunning glittering gold. I wanted to share some of my favorites of the kids together – we had a lot of fun out in this gorgeous, wide-open field!

Paula has been a special part of our family for a very long time. She’s one of the boys favorite babysitters, and Camilla is a bonus, because she’s Cole’s age and the two of them play like brother and sister. So when I learned that she was expecting her second baby, I immediately reserved a place on my Calendar, because capturing her newest little angel was a gift that I couldn’t wait to give to her.

Meet Luciana – Camilla’s baby sister – already loved so deeply and so completely.
