Happy New Year everyone!!!! I’ve really enjoyed taking some time off — the Fall/early Winter Photography Season is always crazy, and it seemed even moreso this year. I’ve needed this breather – needed to catch up on time with my boys – just taking a break from the computer and taking a step back. The last several weeks have been FREEZING – even here in Atlanta. School was canceled for a whole week earlier this month because of snow, and I loved every minute just spending time with them. I’ve taken some down time to organize my hectic household – something that’s needed desperate attention but that I haven’t had time or energy to invest in. I’m finally at a place where I can dig back in and get back into shooting and doing what I love.
I knew I was behind on Blog postings – but I didn’t realize how many till today, when I finally decided to “bring it on” to my desk. So get ready – this Blog posting is chock full of imagery – favorites from my November and December Sessions. I’ve got to catch up, because I just had two Newborn Sessions that I can’t wait to share!!
I’ll start with the most recent and work backwards…
MAXIME. December 14th, 2010
It was a brief Session, as I had to squeeze it in right before my family came into town for the Holidays. Maxime is the first child born to a dear friend of mine, and I was honored to capture his sweet little face.

AIDEN AT SIX MONTHS. December 13th, 2010
I love watching my littlest clients grow during their first year!! Aiden is growing and changing so much (see “Aiden”, the posting from July 2nd 2010). Just look at him now! A chunky monkey and so adorable I could eat him up!!!

ELLA. December 12th, 2010
Ella is a beautiful little princess. So delicate and a precious gift to a beautiful family.

MEGHAN. December 4th, 2010
Okay – I LOVED working with Meghan. First of all, I think she’s GORGEOUS – and unbelievably she’s only 13. I can’t imagine how stunning she’ll be as she grows over the next few years. We were really chilly during our early December Session – but she took it like a trooper – pushing the cold away – letting her inner glow keep her warm between coat breaks. We had such a blast, and I really hope to photograph her again!!

A CHRISTMAS SESSION. November 21st, 2010
I just love this family. Caroline, I ALWAYS love hanging out with you and your gorgeous little girls – and we made it a family Session to combine Christmas images with little Lauren’s one year pictures. It was a mild day, thankfully, and we had a lot of fun in one of my favorite locations, the Old Country Road.

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS SESSION. November 18th, 2010
This was actually a mixed Session. A One-Year Session for little Colden, and also an opportunity to capture some family images to use in a Christmas Card design. How cute is this little guy?? And his big brother kills me with his smiles.

LILY AT ONE YEAR. November 17th, 2010
I’ve been photographing this little angel since she was first born. I LOVE her bright blue eyes, and the way her hair is still peach fuzz – red peach fuzz. She’ll be a gorgeous redhead, just like her sweet mama. We even captured some of her early steps!!!! So awesome.

DELANEY. November 14th, 2010
Little Delaney is SUCH a sweet baby!!! It was so stormy during our Session – the light was so dim, but we opened their front door and did most of the Session right there in the foyer. It doesn’t matter where you place this beautiful little girl – she melts your heart no matter where she is.

A CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION. November 12th, 2010
Just a few shots for a Christmas Card candidate. Oh – and one that I nabbed of their sweet little girl Avery – maybe not Christmas Card material, but I love it anyway!

Whew! A whirlwind of Sessions – so many adorable little faces and sweet spirits, all packed into the hustle and bustle of the busy Holiday Season. I’ve been blessed with meeting so many wonderful families, and I couldn’t ask for more.

yaih! i’ve been checking regularly to see if you had posted anything new and today i got a treat! holy post!
awesome!! you are just so talented!! i’m excited to have you back blogging, but i’m also super excited that you got to have some time off to recharge and be with your boys.
